4. Makeup and Beauty Service Bookings
All makeup and beauty services are subject to availability.
A booking is considered confirmed only when the required booking process has been completed and any applicable advance payment or deposit has been received and acknowledged by Face Stories by Varsha.
An enquiry, quotation or discussion does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking.
Depending on the service, we may request information such as:
- Client name
- Contact information
- Event date
- Event location
- Event type
- Number of services required
- Makeup requirements
- Hairstyling requirements
- Other relevant service information
You are responsible for providing accurate booking information.
5. Booking Confirmation
The availability of a particular artist, team member, date, time or service is not guaranteed until the booking has been formally confirmed.
A quotation or price discussed during an enquiry may be subject to:
- Service scope
- Date
- Location
- Number of people
- Travel requirements
- Additional services
- Applicable taxes or charges
- Promotional terms
- Validity period of the quotation
Any applicable quotation validity period will be communicated separately.
6. Advance Payments and Booking Amounts
Where an advance payment, booking amount or deposit is required, the amount and applicable conditions will be communicated to you before or during confirmation of the booking.
A booking amount may be required to reserve a date and allocate resources.
Unless otherwise specifically stated in writing, an enquiry does not reserve a date.
The treatment of advance payments, deposits and cancellation amounts will depend on the specific booking terms communicated to the client.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Makeup Bookings
Because makeup bookings are often date-specific and require advance allocation of artists, assistants, equipment and other resources, cancellations and rescheduling may be subject to specific conditions.
The applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms will be communicated as part of the booking process.
Depending on the circumstances, the following factors may be considered:
- Time remaining before the event
- Availability of the requested date
- Whether resources have already been allocated
- Whether third-party expenses have been incurred
- Travel arrangements
- Vendor or venue commitments
- Replacement availability
We recommend that clients review all booking-specific cancellation and rescheduling conditions before making payment.
8. Client Responsibility for Event Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding:
- Event date
- Event time
- Venue
- Location
- Number of people
- Required services
- Any relevant scheduling requirements
If incorrect or incomplete information causes delays, scheduling conflicts, additional travel requirements or inability to provide a service, Face Stories by Varsha may not be responsible for resulting consequences that were reasonably caused by the inaccurate information.
9. Punctuality and Scheduling
Clients are expected to be available at the agreed time and location.
Makeup and hairstyling schedules are often coordinated around wedding ceremonies, photography, venue access and other time-sensitive activities.
Client delays may affect the overall schedule.
Where delays are caused by the client or circumstances within the client’s control, Face Stories by Varsha will make reasonable efforts to complete the service, but cannot guarantee that the original service duration or planned schedule can be maintained.
Additional charges may apply where additional time, travel, staff or resources are required and such charges are communicated or agreed upon.
10. Venue and Access Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the agreed service location.
Where applicable, the client should ensure:
- Adequate lighting
- Reasonably clean and suitable working space
- Access to electricity where required
- Appropriate seating
- Reasonable access for the makeup artist and team
- Timely access to the venue
If venue restrictions, security requirements, access restrictions or other circumstances outside our control materially affect the service, we will make reasonable efforts to coordinate with the client.
11. Travel and Additional Charges
Where a service requires travel outside the standard service area, additional charges may apply.
These may include:
- Travel charges
- Accommodation
- Transportation
- Parking
- Toll charges
- Local conveyance
- Additional staff requirements
- Other reasonable service-related expenses
Applicable charges should be confirmed before the booking is finalised wherever reasonably possible.
12. Makeup Trials and Consultations
Where makeup trials or consultations are offered, they may be subject to separate fees, availability and scheduling conditions.
A makeup trial is intended to help understand preferences and assess the desired makeup direction.
A trial does not necessarily guarantee that the final wedding-day makeup will appear identical in every respect, because results can vary depending on:
- Skin condition
- Lighting
- Photography
- Weather
- Products available
- Time available
- Client preferences
- Hair and outfit
- Natural skin characteristics
The final makeup look will be developed in consultation with the client and within the practical constraints of the service.
13. Makeup Products and Client Disclosures
Clients should inform the makeup artist before the service about any relevant:
- Allergies
- Known product sensitivities
- Skin reactions
- Medical or dermatological restrictions relevant to makeup application
- Previous adverse reactions to cosmetics
Face Stories by Varsha should not be expected to know a client’s individual medical or cosmetic history unless the client informs us.
Clients remain responsible for communicating known allergies or sensitivities before the service.
Where a client has a known severe allergy or medical condition affecting cosmetic application, professional medical advice should be obtained where appropriate.
14. Product and Shade Availability
Makeup products, shades, brands and tools may change based on:
- Availability
- Product discontinuation
- Professional kit requirements
- Skin compatibility
- Event conditions
- Hygiene considerations
- Artist judgement
We may use professional alternatives that are reasonably suitable for achieving the intended result.
A specific brand or product should not be considered guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
15. Makeup Results
Makeup is a professional cosmetic service and the final appearance may vary between individuals.
Results can be affected by:
- Skin type
- Skin condition
- Texture
- Weather
- Humidity
- Client preparation
- Facial structure
- Product compatibility
- Lighting
- Photography equipment
- Duration of wear
- Client activities after application
While we aim to provide a professional result consistent with the agreed service and consultation, we do not guarantee an identical result to photographs, reference images or digitally edited content.
16. Academy Course Enrolment
Course enrolment is subject to:
- Availability of seats
- Applicable admission requirements
- Completion of the required registration process
- Payment of applicable fees
- Acceptance of applicable course terms
An enquiry does not constitute admission.
Admission is confirmed only after the applicable admission and payment process has been completed and confirmed by Face Stories by Varsha.
17. Course Fees
Course fees, offers, discounts, inclusions and payment schedules may vary by:
- Course
- Batch
- Admission period
- Promotional campaign
- Offer period
- Payment plan
- Other applicable conditions
The applicable fee and inclusions communicated to the student at the time of enrolment will govern the relevant admission, subject to any applicable written terms.
Students should carefully review the course fee, inclusions and payment requirements before completing enrolment.
18. Course Payments
Where a course permits instalment payments, each instalment must be paid according to the agreed schedule.
Failure to make required payments may result in:
- Temporary suspension of access
- Inability to attend certain sessions
- Delay in certification
- Cancellation of enrolment
- Other reasonable administrative action
Any such action will be subject to the applicable course terms and applicable law.
19. Course Cancellation and Refunds
Course cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the specific course, admission terms, payment structure and circumstances.
Any applicable refund or cancellation policy communicated at the time of enrolment will form part of the course agreement.
Where a refund is permitted, processing may be subject to reasonable administrative or payment-processing timelines.
Promotional offers, discounted admissions, deposits or specially structured programmes may have specific cancellation or refund conditions that will be communicated before enrolment.
No refund term is intended to exclude any mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Batch Changes and Course Scheduling
Face Stories by Varsha may need to modify:
- Class dates
- Class timings
- Faculty allocation
- Venue
- Session sequence
- Workshop schedules
- Course schedules
Such changes may occur because of operational requirements, instructor availability, public holidays, unforeseen circumstances or other legitimate reasons.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes.
Where reasonably possible, an alternative arrangement may be provided.
21. Student Attendance
Students are expected to attend scheduled classes and participate appropriately.
Absence from a class does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.
Whether a missed session can be rescheduled, repeated or replaced will depend on the course structure and applicable batch policy.
Students should follow the attendance requirements communicated by the academy.
22. Course Certification
Where a course includes a certificate, certification is subject to the applicable course requirements.
Requirements may include:
- Attendance
- Completion of required sessions
- Completion of practical work
- Completion of assignments

- Compliance with academy requirements
Completion of a course does not guarantee employment, freelance bookings, income, business success or any specific financial outcome.
